Good Morning Everyone!

Seems as if winter is coming back to our neck of the woods. No snow yet, but the weather guessers predict a drastic drop in the temperature as well as a lot of precipitation, which usually means snow. Not really a comforting thought for the folks in the flooded areas. I am glad that we are "high and dry" at an elevation of 100 ft. above sea level.

Barry - roasted duck, yummy! Add dumplings and red cabbage and you have a good old fashioned German meal.

Ken - how´s that for a Mallard:

This loco is said to hold the world speed record at a little over 125 mph. 3 of them are still in working order and can be seen heading steam specials throughout the year in UK.

Bama - hey, that´s really nice of your wife! I can see nothing wrong in her surprising you with a subscription of MR. Mine will be running out with the April copy and I still will not be able to renew it. It is an either/or situation - either subscribe to MR, or go back to active MRRing. No question which way I will go, but I know I will miss my monthly "MR has arrived" day.

Galaxy - I have been through a similar experience, a surgery with local anesthesia. Man, I felt every single cut and scrape and nearly jumped off the table. Never again, I say!

Nothing much planned for the day - we did the weekly grocery run yesterday, so I will stay inside and maybe do a little tweaking of my layout plan(s).

Janie, just a mug of coffee and a bowl of muesli for me, please.

Y´ all have a good day!
