Ok, as promised, here's a photo or two of the Fleischmann loco I rebuilt. Fitted new end steps to replace broken originals, new couplers so it can work with more recent stock, and did a bit of touching-in on the paintwork around the frame. Also repainted the white wheelrims - the factory paint was pretty much gone from there. This one's a driving trailer (Steuerwagen) made by Rowa, I believe Roco now own the moulds though this was the first example I saw - bought near-mint and boxed, with working directional and interior lighting, for £12 - one of my best buys of recent months.
