i am looking for info in Ho conversion miles to scale miles i remember a company awhile back that sold a conversion wheel.Ed

Hi Ed, A prototype mile = 5,280 feet
HO Scale is 1/87th
1/87th of 5,280ft = 60ft (rounded down)
So 20 sections of HO flex track (3ft each) = just a little under one scale mile. This ain't accurate down to a 1/10th of a mile but it will give you an idea of how many scale miles of track you have. I remember that wheel thing but haven't seen one in years...Vic
