Many years ago at a NMRA convention I visited the home of Gordon Odogard (deceased MR editor) who had hand layed N scale track with PC ties. His work was realy impressive. However he said he'd never do it again. Too much work for too little. <br />There are old articles on that project but not the spline road bed as far as I know.
