Good Morning All:

I'm still full and don't even feel like eating breakfast this morning, but the tea is still good. I need the tea to get my eyes open. The house is slooooowly getting picked up. It may take a couple of days to get it all back in place.

Saturday is going to be open house at the guy's house that I go to on Tuesday and also we're going to have the club layout on display at the treasure's house on Sat and Sun. So this weekend is going to be a good weekend for me. I'll take some cars and a couple of locos. Everyone else brings double stacks - how can you justify pulling double stacks with a steam engine? I take the PS-4 and some Southern pass cars, and my 2-8-8-2 and about 20 freight cars. At the last show I bought a cardboard box called a train-carrier, I've got it packed and ready to go. It is nice not having to worry about the individual boxes.

Flip:
I haven't gotten anything about coffee but I did receive the "shocking pictures" and the "barns". They both made me feel good.

Fergie:
When I was there, I remember the Allegheny but I don't remember the Berk or the Mikado. Is my memory playing tricks on me? I seem to remember something about a NEW Berk????? Is that what it is and if it is, is it a Proto Van Swarrengen? I've been thinking about one of them because I like that wheel arrangement. I've got several PFM Berks but I've been impressed with the other Proto locos and haven't seen one yet. The LHS has always been out when I got there, but they want me to put one on order. Doesn't the Proto Berk have sound?

You should be happy if the price of gas goes down as that will lower your heating bills wont it? I don't know about the cost of gas, but the cost of gasoline is up to $1.799. (That's not a brag, but rather a complaint.)

Paul:
When are ya'll comming down and goin' slummin' with me. Everyone here is ready to show what we've done, so you'll get the golden tour. When you decide to come maybe we could get Fran to come to Houston and let Ed come play also.

Ed:
If you offer a shopping trip you should be able to come play.

Well I've got to get some heat in the back bedroom and I think it means putting in about 25' of gas pipe. That's going to make for a nice job today.

Ya'll have a blessed day and remember SANTA FE ALL THE WAY
Bob
