There's onme spot right know where there's a track crossing, and it's given me more trouple lately, so I'm taking it out and avoiding the crossing. This will also give me a chance to add two or three new industries to they layout, which will mean more switching. I'm also going to rip up all of the current track, and realy about 85-90% of it back exactly where it was, but hopefully without and gaps in the track. I have also decided the name of this branch, and it's history. It will be called the A.R.K subdivson of the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad. I'm not sure of the three towns but I know the A will be Appleton. It's history goes like this, but remember this is all made up. The WSOR recently purchased this line from the CP and it runs from Appleton, WI to ______, WI (I'll fill this in when I figure out the other two towns) In real life, the WSOR runs from Horicon WI to Oshkosh WI, which isn't very far from Appleton. They are using Trackage rights to go between oshkosh and Appleton on the CP (off layout). I'm going to model appleton and about a fictional 5 miles of track, which run just outside of town, where there will be a small industrial park with several industries. I think it will work very well, but it may take a while before I get to run trains again. I've got to rip up some track, and re-level a few boards at their joints, and then relay track and begin scenery. I'll try to get somepictures of the way it is now, the process along the way, and teh finnished result. This is goinng to take a good while, but I hope to running trains within a week or two from when I beign ripping up the track. I hope I haven't bored you with this, but I'm really excited about it, it should be neat. I plan on appointing myself subdivison manager.

Noah
[/quote]

Noah:
I don't know what scale you are in but if you're in HO think about where you want the uncoupling to take place and look at the under track kadee magnets. I think the part number is 308. It looks a lot better then the "between the rail magnets".

Ya'll have a blessed day and remember SANTA FE ALL THE WAY
Bob
