<p>Good Afternoon,</p> <p>Zoe, a strong coffee and a bagel, please.</p> <p>Went shopping with Petra, only to find out that we cannot get what we were looking for. We will be going to see my parents on my mother´s 82nd birthday and want to take a special birthday cake along. Would you believe, that in a town of 25,000 people you can´t get buckwheat flour? Petra is referring back to her recipe books to find an alternative.</p> <p>I did some fiddling around with that track plan idea, just to complete it.</p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/RHBOSPIZIOBERNINA.jpg?t=1286371732" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>The station´s track plan is an exact copy of the prototype, I had to compress the length a little, though. It is basically station to fiddle yard design, to be built in modules. Maybe one fine day...</p> <p>Just to give you an idea of the location, here are some pics:</p> <p>The station building</p> <p><img src="http://files.wikiweise.de/18/7b/Ospizio_Bernina01.JPG" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>Looking west</p> <p><img src="http://www.swistrail.de/seite3_img/ospizio.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p><img src="http://www.feine-fotos.de/RHB_6.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>Leaving the station</p> <p><img src="http://www.alpenbahnen.net/assets/images/autogen/a_k-RhB-ABe4-4_56_Ospizio_Bernina_28.07.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p><img src="http://www.eisenbahnfotoseite.de/b037_RhB_DD.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>En route to Ospizio Bernina</p> <p><img src="http://www.alpenbahnen.net/assets/images/autogen/a_RhB_003_Bernina_Bahn_am_Schwarzsee_bei_Ospizio_Bernina_13_08_2004_foto_herbert_rubarth.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>Finally, the ne generation EMU´s in service at the RhB. Remember, this is narrow gauge!</p> <p><img src="http://www.alpenbahnen.net/assets/images/autogen/a_k-BB_002_Allegra_Triebwagen_bei_Morteratsch_22.08.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>How´s that for a sharp curve?</p> <p><img src="http://www.alpenbahnen.net/assets/images/autogen/a_k-BB016_Kurve_bei_Alp_Grum_27.07.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>... finally, would you build a viaduct like this on your layout?</p> <p><img src="http://www.alpenbahnen.net/assets/images/autogen/a_k-BB021_Brusio_2._27.07.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>Hope, you all have a good day!</p>
