Oh My Lands. [;)] The 30th Anniversary Special Edition of Blazing Saddles is out. I remember seeing this film at a drive in movie. Now the land that was a drive in is a housing subdivision. [:(] Here is a small review of the movie. Mel Brooks scored his first commercial hit with this raucous Western spoof starring the late Cleavon Little as the newly hired (and conspicuously black) sheriff of Rock Ridge. Sheriff Bart teams up with deputy Jim (Gene Wilder) to foil the railroad-building scheme of the nefarious Hedley Lamarr. [}:)] [;)] To me this movie was the start of some very funny movies from Mel Brooks and others. [:)]
