Good Morning,

the last couple of days showed fair autumn weather in this neck of the woods. August and September have been way too wet to feel comfortable, it seems, as if Mother nature attempted to compensate for the hot and dry July.

Flo, I´ll have an hungry man´s breakfast, with all the works, and lots of coffee, please.

Nothing specific planned for the day - just wait and see, what the day will deliver. There is only a short HD list for the day - laundry, my favorite [:-^]

I did write a nice letter to the folks in Tanzania, and it seems, as if we are still in the boat. They need a little more time to make up their mind. I don´t think there are that many applicants for those jobs. I need to be more patient, but that´s not really within my character.

Jeff - Ouch! I am very sorry that your foot is broken again - I hope, it´ll heal in short order. Petra told me to send you a healing kiss (no, I am not jealous!) [angel]

Chris - after 65 years, the remembrance on the time as a POW seems to fade away. Those guys certainly remember the more "funny" incidents, not the hardship and the bad times. I bet there were plenty ... Still we should listen to those stories - there are not that many witnesses of those days around anymore.

Nice pics, btw - keep them rolling...

John - I am always fascunated to see, what you make out of that iNsane scale [tup]

Sam - I am glad to hear, that you are getting closer to your dream job - I keep my fingers crossed for the upcoming tests.

Barry - I am sorry, but it is too early to congratulate. You will have to wait until tomorrow. Flo, Barry´s breakfast is on me, whatever he´d like to have.

Ken - I completely fail to understand a bank´s decision on issuing loans nowadays. The bank, that decided that financing my business was too risky and revoked the already signed credit agreement, lost a 2-digit amount of billions $ on the US real estate market. In the same year, their CEO was awarded a bonus, which exceeded the loan I was asking for. Better to step off the [soapbox] now!

Where is Keith?

A good day to all of you!
