question about a front range products GP-9
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, August 1, 2004 1:34 AM
my little brother bought a Front range products GP-9 in Santa Fe at a train show for 5 buck a while back. it was put together all wrong and missing hand rails hence the low price. i got it running good but we only have one of the sets of hand rails. so i was wondering what would be a good substitue for the original ones since we dont have most of them. i know front range products is no longer in buissiness, so any ideas of what would work well? im looking preferably for someting in the less expensive range because my little brother dosent have a lot of money.

also dose any one know what the right type of air horns for this engein are? its a GP-9 phase II with no dyn brakes. its in zebra stripe paint scheme.

thanks for your help =)

Front Range (later Trains Unlimited) handrails were not the best to start with. You can replace them with a set of Atlas GP9 handrails. They should fit without any modifications.[:D]
