 Change or Fail?Change to what? Yet another internet store? I don´t think this is the answer. In the "good old times" the LHS was the place to go to buy your trains, your building materials, your brass tubing, sheet stock materials for scratch building, your - whatever you needed. The LHS had it on stock, and the folks running the place could afford the inventory, because they made a good margin on the sales of locos and rolling stock. Now, as bargain hunting is the name of the game, that business has gone to the internet shops. A LHS cannot live off selling wire, tubing, rods - the little bits we need.As long as we do not change our buying habits, there will be more of those brick-and-mortar shops closing down, leaving a huge gap in our supply chain
