Rob - welcome to the crowd. I have been burning midnight oil for quite some time now and it starts taking its toll on me.

Japan has quite a bit of elevated track, but my friend is not yet sure he wants some. In any case, he could elevate those for tracks in the back and add scenery and structures to it - I am hoping he does that, would add some more spice to it. I did a bit of a research on Japanese model railways and was amazed, how cheap (in terms of price) they are. A Tomix electric loco sells for about 60 Euros here in Germany, and a 3-car EMU goes for 90 Euros. Compared to the price level of German prototype locos from the likes of Trix and Fleischmann, that is really a bargain.

Get some rest, Rob - will ya?
