Ray -despite all critique, Miniatur Wunderland itself is worthwhile going to Germany. I´d be happy to give you my personally guided tour throughout Hamburg - including lots of railroadiana to see! And - a nice dinner, made by Petra (that´s one thing you can never book through a travel agency)

I´d be happy to have you with us!

Todd - seems, as if we are in the same boat there. My parents know, that they will not be able to live in their house for much longer, as my mom can´t cope with the slightest household chore anymore. But any discussion towards moving closer to us and into some senior citizen facility leads first into a nirvana of arguments and second into some harsh words from my parents (which I try to avoid by ending the discussion before that could happen). I guess we just have to grin and bear it, although it hurts sometimes. After all, we do care!

Quite a nice day, actually, for the first day of summer!

See you!
