Suydam Drive springs

I'm trying to rejuvenate drives in brass Suydam trolleys. ANyone know where to get replacement springs? Any tips on how to tame the lively little things?

Jol,
I believe you can get what you want at Alpine Division Scale Models, since they own Suydam, listed under Trolley Supplies:

Spring belt drives are listed as item 150-1146, just scroll down. As to how to tame the belts, try an Email to them or post this at one of the traction modeller Web sites.
