 You folks in the US are really lucky guys, as the US based importers seem to pass on the cost benefit out of a production in China into the market. This is not the case in Germany, where Chinese made locos cost to the tune of up to $ 1,000 - I don´t talk brass or hybrids!How much would I pay? Not more than I can afford - and I can afford only very little. As most of the production has already been transferred to China, I don´t think we have the option to source locally, at whatever price.
