 Would I build a double-deck layout? Most likely not - for various reasons. I am a fan of small, but highly detailed layouts, so I don´t have the need to double-deck. The second reason is, that I like to have my layout at near eye level and that precludes a double-deck layout, as I would have to compromise too much on my preferred viewing angle.I have never seen a double-deck layout, other than those featured in MR, and most of them looked very good.
