Info on lionel model 1664?

I would like some info on a train I have. I think it is a model 1664. It was my dad's and I would like to know: age, kind of engine,etc. IF anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

If you can provide some additional details on the pieces, I can provide you with additional information. Post the color, type of locomotive (steam/diesel) and cars, locomotive wheel arrangement and any other markings on the pieces and I will get you additional details.
