Good Afternoon,

Flo, make that a steak sandwich and a RBF for me, please. I stay here at the RC and watch who will come by.

An uneventful day today. No news are good news for me nowadays. Did only very little w*rk today in the condo. Just put up some racks in the kitchen for Petra to store all the herbs and spices she needs for her cooking. The TV seems to be w*rking ok now, the plug connecting the antenna with the TV set needs some tinkering. The white stuff you guys seem to be getting is coming down in its non-crystalline form over here.

Did do some surfing in the internet to make up my mind in which direction I should head with my future MRR activities. Here are somê conclusions I came up with:

N scale, although being very much improved over my past experience, is too small for my eyes and hands and does not give me that feeling I attempt to catch. I have seen a lot of excellent work, like Dave Vollmer´s layout, and I am very much impressed about the detail possible - if I could only see it without sticking me nose into it...

Building a layout in the attic is not a wise choice - the place is too damp

I am still favoring "arctic" railroading, that limits the choice of theme to either LKAB in Sweden, ARR or the White Pass & Yukon RR. I ignore the Russian Railway line to Murmansk...

Lack of available funds means modeling on a shoestring budget, a lot of scratchbuilding will be necessary.

Where does all of the above leave me? I don´t know yet - I miss running a train so much [:(]

I guess I need a vacation from myself.

Blessings to all of you!
