Good Afternoon,

it has been a sunny, but cold day - no sn*w in sight in this area. Did not do much today, just a little tinkering here and there.

Zoe, how about some coffee in my LKAB mug and a slice of that pecan pie, topped off with some vanilla ice cream?

The internet connection is not yet stable and my notebook has not yet found its place, but it feels so good to be connected to my friends again. The flat is starting to look a lot better now that the curtains are up and some of that bric-a-brac is finding a new place. The bedroom is completely finished and, although being very small, has a lot of atmosphere. The living room needs work, but more in the "underground", i.e. floor lining behind the sofa and stuff like that. The bathroom needs a lot of work to be nice again, but that has to come a little later. I need to slow down. "An old man is not a fast train" - a true German proverb!

Jeffrey - that foot of yours is worrying me! My [angel] for a speedy and thorough recovery!

J.R. - [bday]

Barry - the attic is not heated, let alone insulated. Not an ideal place for a layout, but the only chance I have. The space I could occupy is about 16` by 5`, so something L-shaped will fit in. I am not sure whether to revive my previous ARR Port Whittier ideas or go for something completely else - how about logging in On30? Time will tell.

Jerry - only occasionally I see a pic of your layout - please show us more [:P]

Tom - Christmas caroling is a custom unknown in Germany - I wish I had been a fly on the wall observing your imprompty appearance ... [:)]

I have been trying to catch up on the old posts - no chance. I have missed so much!

Sun´s setting now - time to arrange for dinner. Need to buy some things first!

Edit: What´s wrong with good ol´ Greaseburgers? I love them!
