W'sup. Does soldering flex track rail require different flux than other things like a sheet brass kit? The only flux available I see is from Tix. Is this alright?

I think that all electronics work, as well as modelwork calls for rosin flux (and/or rosin-core solder) as opposed to acid flux. Acid flux is used for plumbing applications, and is hazardous to the long-term life of your electronics and models.

Aggro,

I use Radio Shack rosin flux (in a tube) for all model soldering (rail, metal kits, wire, electronics, etc.)
