Good Morning,

actually, I don´t know whether this is a good morning. I could not sleep at night, so I got up VERY early and switched on TV, just to see the report on the shooting in Texas. I am shocked. How can anyone do this? I will never understand. My [angel] for the victims and those left behind.

Zoe, just a glass of water - I need to take that pain killer.

Eddie - I am glad to hear that Mikayela has arrived safely and mom and daughter are both well! Congratualion!

Phillip - my [angel] continue for your wife and your son for a thorough recovery!

Tom - the statue of Arminius is actually at the wrong place - that battle supposedly took place at a village called Kalkriese, which is about a two hours drive away from my place. Arminius was turned into a national hero in the late 1800´s, when they built that huge statue. The Roman army was not trained for guerrilla warfare. He beat them with a hit-and-run tactics in the dense forest of northern Germany. His biggest achievement was, by the way, not beating the Romans, but putting all those various German tribes under one command. Even today, we are more Saxons, Bavarians, Hessians, etc. then Germans.

Got to see the doctor today - I am not feeling well at all.

Have a good day!
