Why would these polls be considered stupid?

Some of the "poll topics" from time to time may be questionable, but many of them give an idea of how a "cross-section" of modelers of various age groups, races, cultures, etc.,feel about specific model railroad related subjects.

I've enjoyed most of the polls that I've read.

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

I like polls and I think they do serve a purpose. Besides what's the harm in them?
