atlas commander dcc controller

How can I be certain that my hobby shop is selling me the latest version of the Atlas Commander containing latest upgrades. Planning to purchase system and just found out that Atlas offering to upgrade already purchased units. Is already upgraded units being sold or must one purchase what is on the shelf and immediately ship it to Atlas for upgrading. Thanks to one and all for prompt answer to above as planning to purchase system this week. Regards

Check the Atlas website www.atlasrr.com. They have a message listing similar to this one. You can have your question answered by one of their company reps. I as a DCC dealer posed a similar question as I had customers asking which version they were getting. Atlas replied that I could by the upgrade from them and install them, so I could be selling the latest product.
