Good Afternoon,

it´s been a mild and pleasant autumn day with lots of sunshine and a temperature around 20 C. The trees around us show golden and red leaves and you can hear flocks of geese flying south for their winter quarters. I guess we will have a cold winter coming soon.

I have been trying to get hold on my current life, but I have to admit that I am still too weak to do so. Something I cannot explain is still happening to me - I hear things I never could hear before, I see things that I never saw before. I am confused, but not worried about this.

Petra and I have started to talk about our life and how it will change. We both know that the coming weeks will be really tough on both of us, as we have to fold up our "previous" life before we can find and head in a new direction. She really surprised me - I thought it to be much harder for her to give up what made up her life for almost 20 years.

Folks, please bear with me when I start to get philosophical - I´ll make up with more Strudel and other goodies Petra knows so well to make (like her award winning chocolate chippers, her apple pie, her Linzer Torte - the list is endless, but please don´t let Vinnie know...)

It just feels so good to be back, also with you!

Flo, I´d like to have an RBF and a slice of that butterscotch pie - did I tell you how much I missed my daily
RBF?

PC - Photobucket is now working, so I took a look at you with a beard - keep it!

Philly Bill - a late, but big [#welcome] to the Diner! You´ll find the folks in here one of the finest in the world - REAL FRIENDS!

Ray - I like your smile!
