I emailed Walthers in hopes of getting a replacement parts package for an H10-44. I received a very nice response very quickly saying that yes indeed that had some and for $12.50 (part shipping and part for the sprue) they have it on its way.
Not bad for a product that was last released 6? + years ago!

That's good news. Nice to know that Walther's still provides decent customer service.
Forgive my ignorance. I'm 41 and still don't know what the word "KUDOS" stands for! Is it an acronym?
The executive director at the transit company I used to work for loved to use "buzz words" frequently and this seemed to be her favorite.
Thanks!

Antonio- Its Greek, meaning glorious or legendary, we use it to heap high praise on someone.

When I first got into the hobby my parents bought me a second hand train set that was a walthers brand. My Dad accidentally (I think anyway) knocked it onto the floor. We sent it in with ten dollars and a letter explaining what happened since we were new to the hobby to have them fix it and the sent it back after fixing including the check, so it only cost us shipping to them in the first place, they were very nice. I still think the might have replaced the whole engine but I don't know for sure.

True, Walthers is great, but their prices are outrageous!!! I looked there for a Rivarossi FEF-3. I found one, but for $250.00!!!!! No thanks! I got one at www.firsthobby.com for $149.99! Not a great site for purchasing certain models, I guess.
