Hello all, new guy here. Just getting into trains after about a 25 year wait. Looking forward to talking with you all, and I must apologize up front for all the probably simple questions I will be asking. I am starting to plan our ( the boyz and I ) first layout, so thank you all in advance.

[#welcome] DadnBoyz. No need to apologize. Hopefully we can give simple answers. I wish you the best with your new layout and hope you will share your ideas and thoughts with us. We all had to start sometime or other and we all had simple questions, in fact still do once in awhile. The way this hobby is evolving, it's a continuos learning experience for all of us. Ken

[#welcome]DadnBoyz- I can guarantee you if I answer any question, it will be simple.
fiatfan is right, somewhere in this group, someone has tried it, failed at it, suceeded at it or broke and fixed it.
This is a collection of wise old and young birds, and no question shall go unanswered.
By the way, I've only been a member for about a month, and my questions when I came on board were what are the stars by your name for(number of posts, nothing else) and how do you use the emoticons(click on the show smilie list over there to the left)
Again, welcome.

[#welcome][#welcome] Hi DadnBoyz! You're going to like this forum, I did from the very start. If you have any questions on UP or any steam locomotives, give me a call. [;)][:)][8D]
