I've been pretty busy this week...

First, I constructed a full-size mockup of the lift bridge to my staging yard. The tracks are just to show the future alignments I'll use.

Also, I filmed a cab ride video! Here, we're riding along with White River Southern Railroad train 402, in the cab of WRS 1402. We sideswiped a boxcar with the high/wide camera load (riding in a heavily weighted gondola) and ran over a switch set against us, but that same weight meant to keep the top-heavy camera car from tipping over also kept us on the track!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdiV8zQewT0

In addition, I also went railfanning at the summit of the Mascoma Lake Grade (well, my HO scale model of the actual lake!) and caught power move 431, and manifests 402 and 403. 431 is just rolling by with two engines and a caboose, but both manifests are in Run 8 (full throttle) struggling up the grade!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zASjEWa6Dc

Enjoy!
