I grew up one block South of the Missouri Pacific main line coming west out of St. Louis. As a kid I used to sit on the curb and watch a local switch Manchester Iron Works. To this day (40plus years later) switching is still my favorite part of operations! <br />When I was a preschooler we had a small Lionel layout, later an American Flyer layout. When I returned to the hobby about 35 years ago I went into HO and have been there ever since. So I guess the Missouri Pacific and Manchester Iron Works in Maplewood, MO got me hooked! <br /> <br />Ed
