[#ditto] on locomotive3's welcome to the Atlas forum gang that may find us. I know a lot of us follow both forums and I hope the ones on the Atlas forum that didn't follow ours here will find us. They are a great bunch of people and can contribute a lot of good ideas and knowledge. Thanks, signing off with my Atlas name, Ken Tanner

This forum also gets some refugees from railroad.net when they have one of their periodic server meltdowns (like today [:(!] ), so everyone play nice.

Yes, thanks for the welcome! Just started reading this & the Atlas forum just when they shut down for the summer. Back into model railroading after about 12 years.

Just in the eight years I have been in HO major advances in technology and many-many
upgrades in quality and selection. N scale has enjoyed some great improvements but
I'm not up that speed. Being away from the hobby you may find the broad & scope can be overwhelming.

Thanks alot for the welcome. I don't post here very often (at all it seems), but with Atlas down for the summer I may make this a regular stop.

Hey Dave, 1,001 apologies. I got you mixed up with Bruce Frierdich & his daugther.

But post that Atlas picture of your guys of 10/02/02.

You're right, locomotive3. One of my first surprises: "Hey, what's this DCC stuff?"
Got a lot to catch up on.

Building a new N scale shelf layout and an HO switching layout. Can't decide where my loyalties lie. Just know I don't have room for the O27 equipment in my closet.

Dave, I kept the 20 + pages from the Atlas post "have you met" A number of respondents
posted pictures, You, Bruce, Bill Nanney, Trangeekboy and I got them out of order..

That was a great exchange of information.

Good to have you aboard.

Chuck,
I finally have a new snap of myself that is relatively current. My girlfriend took it at the RR Museum of Pennsylvania last April. It's in my profile here on this site. I guess you could add it to your collection of Atlas Forum member pics[:D].
