I will admit that the first few years of Conrail were bad but they cleared up after the goverment let them go in the 80s, but they were better than UP! During the last 10 years Conrail was one of (if not the best) Class 1. I remember that they used to let you into Allentown Yard as long as you stayed in the parking lot. But when Nazi Southern (No offence to NS fans) came in everything change. Most trains are operating at night, GE galore on every train (I better stop with that[:D], On to the pics![:)])

NS SD40-2s push hard on the rear of a intermodel at Horseshoe Curve.

This engine seems to pop up everywere! I saw it in Emmaus, Pa on a freight without a door and every time I go to Altoona it shows up (its assigned to helper duty out of Altoona). This is a special engine since my brothers first puplished photo was of this engine (other side) pulling an Amtrak at Casandra, Pa.

Heres an NS SW1500 with a PC logo in Enola, Pa

Heres a CR Caboose in the late 90s at Allentown, Pa

Here two Conrail engines with a UP in the middle at Horseshoe

Heres one I took a week ago[:)] I NS freight at Macungie, Pa with a UP and BNSF. All of the shots were taken by my brother, dad, and I.
