Dougal, download the GOOGLE TOOL BAR, on that tool bar, you'll find a pop up blocker. If you use it , you won't have anymore trbl. I've been using it for 6 or 7 months now and it's blocked over a thousand pop ups for me, and I don't have a virus problem. Also don't even crack open any e-mail from anyone that you're not familiar with. Hope this helps.
