Is in question on newly released products since the parent ,Lima has received a Hornly plc
tender offer to acquire. Nigel of this forum questioned the merits of buying the new FEF-3
with the possibilty of no after sales support for warranty service.
Good Point Nigel!
The FEFs are listed by Walthers terminal hobby shop and their comment was" Contact Rivarossi"
Lima, the parent is in Italy . Lima's web page is under construction.
They do have an e-mail address,
after.sales@limamodel.com and I bet I won't get a relpy

Bankruptcy is the elimination or renegotiation of liabilities. To maintain thier interest, parties must be represented.
Warranties are liabilities, the purchaser of the assets may choose to honor those liabilities or not... Unless the court forces them to (highly unlikely) they do not have to....
To consider anything purchased from a entity in bankruptcy to be anything more than "as is, where is" is not wise.
