Just a follow up...
My vendor fixed the problem...apparently it was nothing ! Just something on the flying wheel. I didnt really understand exactly but it can be easily fixed if it happens to someone else !

just received my verandah, a nice looking loco but on a closer look the handrailing is a bit crappy, I mean it's very close to the body and the rear handrailing isn't seating properly and it runs not as smooth as I would have liked, for the money I would buy another but hey the sounds are great!!......can't expect everything.
Also no instructions on how to remove the shell or parts list and programming in analog mode is a bit of trial and error.
Seems to me that they rushed the loco onto the market to early without looking at every detail.

Call Lionel and they will fax you the Quick start guide that covers analog & DCC.
