Thanks everyone for the ideas. There were several good ones mentioned I can try. <br /> <br />I was trying to go just by the road name on the car, like if it said BN I knew it was after my timeperiod. But I don't think some model manufacturers sell cars painted after actual real-life rolling stock. I don't want to be what some here call a rivet counter, but I'd like to keep it fairly accurate.
