Hi Doug
[#welcome] to Model Railroader forum!

However you may have better luck posting this request in Classic Toy Trains Magazine forum. What you have, maybe with the exception of the HO scale sets, are toy trains. Just click on this link to go there http://www.trains.com/community/forum/default.asp?CAT_ID=5

You might want to pick up a copy of Classic Toy Trains Magazine to see if there is any info as to where or who does toy train appraisals. You can also find hobby shops that specializes in toy trains in your area, listed in the back of the magizine, that may help you identify what you have.
If you want to sell them get at least three appraisals before you do. If you want keep and insure them, double or tripple the appraised value. That's probabbly what they would cost to replace them.

As for the HO scale sets, unless they're brass, they may not be worth more than a few bucks. Do you know what brand they are? Athearn made sets back then and are worth much more than, say, a Tyco, Bachman or Model power.
Good Luck! [tup]
