Ooops! I got it turned upside down: <br /> <br />distance in inches x (25.4 x 3600 / (5280 x 3.5)) divided by the time in seconds = scale mph <br /> <br />When you work out the arithmatic it is <br /> <br />distance in inches x 4.9481 / time in seconds = scale mph <br /> <br />This is for HO scale. <br /> <br />Example - 36 inch flex track crossed in 5 seconds = 36 smph(HO) <br /> <br />Cheers - Ed
