can u use Circuitron's slo mo tortoise s/machine on Peco t/outs? If so, any words of wisdom?

Yes, you can use the Tortoise or SwitchMaster slow motion switch machines on Peco turnouts -- the trick is to remove the spring that holds the points into position. There is a very small spring between the rails under a black plastic cover. You can remove another cover from the bottom of the turnout and take the spring out. You will need to drill a larger hole than normal through the layout so the Tortoise machine's piano wire has enough room to pivot and change the position of the turnout's points. A 1/8" hole should be large enough.
