The Atlas forum went through this very issue a couple of years ago. People started doing silly posts just to drive their count up. The problem with that is for some of us it was irritating because you were reading nonsense. So a massive lobby went on to get rid of its star system, or whatever it was. They eventually did get rid of it. <br /> <br /> I don't think I posted to the DOS thread, if I did it was once. But when I stuck my nose in to see what all the fuss (high post count) was about, I realized it was silly fluff to drive up the post count so people could earn another star. The thread itself was its own worst enemy, it proved that stars (or any other system that differentiates) shouldn't be implemented.
