Looking for a Model Railroad Author
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, April 5, 2004 9:03 PM
I am inquiring about an author that was in Model Railroader back in the 1970s by the name of Walter R. Olsen. Walt was the creator of the "East Glasstop RR" an N-scale railroad set into a glass top coffee table. He also created the "Brandywine Transit Co" an HO scale traction Model. He was an electrician for SEPTA at the 69th St Shops. I came to know Walt through the then Arden Trolley Museum now Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. He assisted the museum in aquiring Red Arrow 66 back in the early 70s. I have lost touch since then. I haven't modeled in about 15 years, but have been wondering about him now and then. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

LOL [swg]

Thanks Mike for the laugh. I'm sure you didn't mean to but when I saw your abbreviation for association, I couldn't help myself. I started laughing out loud and couldn't stop for several minutes.
