Sometimes things get mixed up in the mail. This has happened a few times with MR for me. You can wait a couple of weeks and request a new copy if you have not received it by then.

Take care,

Sean

You're not missing anything. Aside from the review on the BLI T1 and cover story, I was dissapointed. (but the 8 tips from a pro was excellent)

I agree nothing really jumped out at me although I like saving each one
My grandmother gave all of my grandpa's away he had them all from number one to the last year of his life. I urge all of you to make provisions in your will for your train collections he did not and although she always said she liked his trains as soon as he was gone she said she couldnt wait to be rid of the train crap

I usually get my on the 1st, but this month mine has not arrived yet. I hope to see it today (Monday the 5th). I'm not really concerned yet, not like that year when they changedthe mailing proceedures and I got it on the 18th every monthe for 16 months. That was not cool.

I really don't understand why every month there are people on here complaining about how bad the content of MR is. This magazine is a single monthly issue covering broadly the whole hobby of model railroading. That is a tall order. If you want more specific information concentrated on one aspect there are other publications that do that. MR does a great job of what they do. I'm not sure why those who complain about how bad MR is every month continue to subscribe, unless they just need something to complain about and an audience to complain to.

no need to woory about the delivery date, it will come, sometimes i get it a week before teh month, and sometimes i get it later than when it comes on sale, you can't rely on the government owned postal service[:)]

[#ditto] I too think they do an excellent job! My copy of Model Railroader arrives every month, no matter what the date is.

Mark, you should give your postal delivery person a break, after all TX is a large state for one person to deliver all that mail.

I received my May issue last Friday. I thought the content was very good, as usual. I particularly enjoyed the "Eight Modeling Tips" and "Warehouse on a Curve" articles. [:)]

Based on past deliveries, I should have received mine April 31-May 2. I am still waiting. Hopefully it will be here soon!

I thought the May issue had several interesting things in it. Not the least of which is the ad for the video MyMemoirs Video is doing on my layout on the top left of page 120 <very big grin> !
