Ross, I have the Zephyr and the answer to all three of your question is yes. The Zephyr is a fully functioned DCC system, no differant than any other DCC system, except for amperage output. You can adjust starting, mid range and top voltage to hone the system to every loco address. It allows for a roster of 20 locos. I am unsure what this really means, Ie. If it means you can only run 20 locos at a time or you can only load 20 loco addresses into the system. I am using a DT300 walk arouund throttle with my Zephyr. As far as operating switch machines from the Zephyr, I am unsure of this. WWW.digitrax.com will answer these and any other questions you may have.
