The only thing bad I've seen is that prices have gone up $5 to $15. Hopefully thats all that happens.[8]

Another bad thing is that Horizon Hobby will now "be the exlusive distributor of Athearn products."(Model Railroader) Luckily my LHS is a dealer for H.H. For the folks who had to buy Athearn models thru Walthers and don't live near a hobby shop that's a dealer for H.H., they'll have to mail order, which will stack another $7 or so on top of that $5-$15 extra.

I thought that prices would go up and I could deal with it. I found out that my local hobby store was going to stop selling athearn because he couldn't make the $1000 minimum order each month. It will be asaid day when I see that last ble box come off the shelf. Something that has been a part of my hobby experience since I can remember.Andy
