I have thought about this type a thing for quite a number of years. But I never thought there would be any viability to it. <br /> <br />As for the role of Simon Cowel on this endeavor we have to go no further than Mr. Trains of Thought himself. Tony Keoster. <br /> <br />On a related note. The History Channel aired not long ago an episode of their series called "Modern Marvals" on the topic of models. One of the people they got to comment for the show was Model Railroader's own Terry Thompson. I think he has wonderful Camera Presence and would be a good host for a Model Railroader TV show. Though to be of general interest like the magazine it would have to be an hour long show.
