Go to www.rr-fallenflags.org. They have a small amount of information and pictures from the Katy.

Bryan9664,
As a start, if you enter "MKT" as the search term in a Keyword Search at the Index of Magazines at the top of this page you'll get a list of 144 articles about the Katy.

If you can find them, the books KATY POWER by George Collias and KATY SOUTHWEST by McCall & Schultz are full of good pictures of MKT engines and equipment. They both have some text about motive power, facilities and history. BTW, what kind of Katy engine(s)
do you plan to model? Hope this helps and good luck!!!

Also Ray George: MKT in Color. Includes even some steam. And Parker Lamb's books if you want Barriger and beyond + some Deramus-era. Ditto for Emory's questions: what are you trying to model and what era??

Personally, I think it's pretty neat that the Katy modernized 4-4-0's and used them into the late steam era. My favorite engine picture of all time is a a MKT RS3M which I photo'ed with
the modern Dallas skyline as a backdrop--MKT 142 in 1989 just after the UP takeover.
