I don't want those types of comments to keep newcomers from posting because they're afraid you're going to open up with both guns blazing just because they "asked for it."Bottom line: be tactful[/quote]Bergie,  thanks for that statement.  I've browsed these forums for the last year or so before getting up the courage to post.  It seems like there's a certain element within model railroading where if you don't model "Conrail freight operations on July 6th, 1986 to within 1 minute accuracy", you're doing it all wrong.  I'll be honest, I spent my life on trains, and now that I'm not on them every day, I like to sit back and just watch them roll by, whether in real life or on my layout.
