I've browsed these forums for the last year or so before getting up the courage to post. It seems like there's a certain element within model railroading where if you don't model "Conrail freight operations on July 6th, 1986 to within 1 minute accuracy", you're doing it all wrong. I'll be honest, I spent my life on trains, and now that I'm not on them every day, I like to sit back and just watch them roll by, whether in real life or on my layout. </p>
