Here are some sig guidelines from another forum. Since most of this does not really apply here, They have some good rules. Plus there's no one to enforce them [;)] *Signatures will be no longer than 5 lines. * Signatures may contain an image, but they can be no larger than 250x100 and you are only allowed 1 image in your sig. An exception to this is if you have multiple small images, but collectively they do not exceed the 250x100 dimension limit. Or.... * You may have a banner-sized image with the dimensions of 468x60 or smaller. * Also, images that are exceptionally large in filesize (not dimension) should be avoided, as they slow the loading and scrolling of pages, particularly for those who do not have broadband access. * Signatures may contain a link to your personal site. However, advertising is not permitted. * Signatures are expected to follow the same guidelines as posts, which means no flaming, no swearing, no personal attacks, no HTML, and no adult material. * A good general rule is: If your signature is taller than your post, it's probably too long.
