I am assembling an Athearn 50' "Fishbelly" Gondola kit this evening and adding InterMountain metal wheelsets. What is the correct prototypical size for the wheelset on these gons? 33' or 36'
Thank you, dveens1

For a 70 ton gondola, 33" wheels, but you may have to use off set shank couplers to get them to match up with the gauge.
33 foot or 36 foot wheels would be a bit large........

Thanks nfmisso. I suppose 33 foot would be a tad much. Oops.
