If you are talking about lichen, if you can find liquid glycerine (try a pharmacy), you can add about 1/2 tablespoon to a pot of hot water on the stove, and bring your lichen back to life. I used to gather lichen in the wild and treat it this way along with various fabric dyes to get good cheap foliage. The glycerine will give it flexability, if you need to adjust the color, just add a bit of dye. I think you might find more detailed info. in one of the scenery books available, but this has been a "family recipe" that always worked for me. <br /> Hope this helps, Todd C.
