Der-thanks for the heads-up on painting the rails.How do you clean the tops of the rail after painting them? I was thinking of using low tack painters tape to mask the rail heads.There is also a company whose link I saw posted that makes a mini roller for painting the rails. They also sell their own brand of acrylic weathering colors. They sell a starter kit. I might even try that out and see how it works. You are correct I di say that to Lee and take it from me,it's true.I've had my share of accidents that turned out suprisingly good.One never knows does one? NJ Bob
