Like David said the 40 Watt transformer is adequate for what you have now. Keep in mind that the rated output of an AC train transformer is the total output and is not seperated between track and accessory terminals. Therefore if you plan to have lots of lights and operating accessories in operation while your trains are running go for the higher wattage. <br /> <br />Take Care and Have Fun...Vic
